- Franz Ferdinand back in North America, Japan and Europe Aside from perhaps Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand may take the prize for the most international gigs this year. The band have already been through North America and Japan once in 2009 and they will return to the US next week supporting Green Day and playing festivals before returning to Japan and then Europe again.

- Glasvegas Continue World Domination With More Dates in Europe and North America It has been an incredible year for Glasvegas. The band will support U2 tonight in Dublin then return to America next week to headline their own tour.
