- The Twilight Sad US Tour Dates; Frightened Rabbit Stuck in Heathrow Travelodge The Twilight Sad have finalized a 29 date North American tour with Japanese post-rockers Mono that should kick off in LA on May 7th. Sadly the volcanic ash cloud has forced Frightened Rabbit to cancel part of their 26 date headline tour with the band still stuck in London. Details on both tours below:
- Twin Atlantic Announce First North American Tour Twin Atlantic will be taking a major step towards their inevitable domination of America with a 40+ date tour with The Fall of Troy next month that includes SXSW. - Franz Ferdinand back in North America, Japan and Europe Aside from perhaps Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand may take the prize for the most international gigs this year. The band have already been through North America and Japan once in 2009 and they will return to the US next week supporting Green Day and playing festivals before returning to Japan and then Europe again.
- The Proclaimers Returning to America Auchtermuchty’s favourite sons The Proclaimers have just completed a tour of Canada and will be returning to North America in September with a full band. No news yet on whether they will be driving around the States on the back of a red convertible again (see video), but ticket details and tour dates are below.

The band will start rehearsals in early July and will play a warmup show in California on July 16 before heading to Japan for the Fuji Festival.
