Scottish Bands at SXSW 2010: The Law
The Law will return to Austin for SXSW 2010 having been part of the Scottish contingent in 2008 and at the time of writing, the band have 8 gigs scheduled during the 4 day festival. Full details on these performances are below and will be updated if and when further gigs are added.

Scottish Artists at SXSW 2010: Hudson Mohawke
Alongside Unicorn Kid and Young Fathers, Hudson Mohawke will show the South by Southwest Festival goers that Scottish music is more than just great indie bands. The in-demand Glaswegian DJ/Producer released his debut album ‘Butter’ in 2009 and is already rumoured to be working with members of Bloc Party and Spank Rock in 2010.

Interview with Django Django
Though initially accepted and confirmed for SXSW 2010, London based Scottish band Django Django sadly were not able to get visas issued in time. Dave and Tommy spoke with Dear Scotland earlier this month when it looked like they were heading to Texas. It’s a really funny interview and hopefully they’ll make it next time.
