New Camera Obscura gigs to include Indonesia, Mexico and Coachella

Tales of a TA Gourmet: On Fast Food and Football
Despite the fact I can barely boil an egg, I do like to think I appreciate a quality bit of grub, whether it’s fried soup dumplings from Yang’s in Shanghai ($1 for 6) or lunch at Le Bernardin in Manhattan (quite a bit more for 6 courses).

Don’t You Forget About Me: Scars
In 1981 the NME wrote of Scottish post punk band Scars that “Scars will be stars: they’re the new craze. The stage is theirs.” It didn’t happen like that, but when you see the video below, filmed around Edinburgh in 1981, you might think it still looks ahead of its time.
