Camera Obscura are currently in the middle of a European tour and the band will be at La Maroquinerie in Paris tonight. Last weekend, bass player Gavin Dunbar (far right) spoke with Dear Scotland about Camera Obscura’s upcoming gig at the Barrowland Ballroom, hearing their songs on Sportscene and the importance of Lorne sausage.

Sons and Daughters will play their only international show this summer at the Co Jest Grane Festival in Warsaw, Poland, later this month. Not unlike Dear Scotland, the band’s latest album “This Gift” unashamedly offers glimpses of a romanticized Scotland; a result of the band spending so much time out of the country, on the road.
Some people may be surprised to know that vintage Scottish rockers Nazareth are still going strong but, as previously noted on Dear Scotland, the band are currently on a tour of Canada. Later this summer the Fifers will visit Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Tour dates below.
Hudson Mohawke, also known as Hud Mo, is a highly touted Electronic music producer/DJ from Glasgow affiliated with the LuckyMe collective.Hudson Mohawke’s most recent release is the Polyfolk Dance EP, released in 2009 on Warp Records. He will be playing all over Europe this summer.
