- Fran Healy North American Solo Shows Fran Healy of Travis has announced that he will be playing his first ever solo shows this summer with Keane in the US and Canada. - The Twilight Sad US Tour Dates; Frightened Rabbit Stuck in Heathrow Travelodge The Twilight Sad have finalized a 29 date North American tour with Japanese post-rockers Mono that should kick off in LA on May 7th. Sadly the volcanic ash cloud has forced Frightened Rabbit to cancel part of their 26 date headline tour with the band still stuck in London. Details on both tours below:
- New Camera Obscura gigs to include Indonesia, Mexico and Coachella Glasgow’s Camera Obscura are in Sydney tonight and the band have just announced new dates in Europe, Asia and North America for the Spring. Highlights include the Coachella Festival in California and a Friday night gig at Emo’s in Austin. Full details and ticket links below as always:
- More Camera Obscura Gigs in Europe and North America Camera Obscura are back on the road and they will be at the Fritz Club in Berlin tonight. The band have now finalized their schedule for the next few months which includes dates all over Europe and North America and a very special gig at the Glasgow Barrowlands. - Travis Acoustic Tour of US & Canada As previously revealed on Dear Scotland, Fran and Andy will be playing a series of acoustic shows in New York and LA in September. - Glasvegas Continue World Domination With More Dates in Europe and North America It has been an incredible year for Glasvegas. The band will support U2 tonight in Dublin then return to America next week to headline their own tour. Later this summer they’ll open for U2 at Hampden and Wembley then they’ll be back in North America to support Kings of Leon in September. Ticket information below.
- Trashcan Sinatras in America and Japan The Trashcan Sinatras have announced US dates for July and August. The band will start rehearsals in early July and will play a warmup show in California on July 16 before heading to Japan for the Fuji Festival. Once they return from Japan, the band begins a full summer US tour.
