- 14 Scottish Artists Now Confirmed for SXSW 2013 Earlier this week, Creative Scotland revealed that they would be supporting five Scottish bands and three DJs to attend this year’s SXSW Music festival in Austin. We can also add The Waterboys’ Mike Scott, Frightened Rabbit and more to the list of Scottish acts who’ll be there. Full list below:

- Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: Broken Records in The Netherlands Vic will be hosting the live TV coverage of T in the Park on the BBC next weekend, but before then he has our weekly listing of Scottish bands on tour outside the UK and more on Edinburgh’s Broken Records who will be in the Netherlands with Brooklyn’s The National.
- Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: We Are The Physics in France Glasgow’s We Are The Physics will be en Tours this week. Specifically the band will play at the Festival Aucard de Tours in France. - Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: Bis in Barcelona It is a bumper week for Scottish bands on tour internationally this week with 18 bands playing across the world. Highlights include Camera Obscura and A-Lix in South America, Codeine Velvet Club in Romania and the mighty Bis at the Primavera Festival. Vic has more on Bis alongside the full listings below:
- Interview with Kassidy Glasgow’s Kassidy were another of Vic’s 50 Scottish bands to watch this year and they are already starting to build a following outside the UK.
