- Watch Czech Republic v Scotland Live with Expat Surfer Once again, Scottish football fans in the US will be unable to watch an important international match on any American TV channel. I’ve written to the SFA several times, without reply, offering to broadcast games here on Dear Scotland, but fortunately you can now watch the game for free with Expat Surfer.
- The Proclaimers European and US Tour Dates The Proclaimers will be travelling a lot of miles over the next few months. Probably at least 400 or so miles as they take in Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Czech Republic and the East Coast of America. Details below with direct ticket links as always.
- The Cinematics Bring Love and Terror to Europe The Cinematics met in Dingwall and are currently based in Glasgow but it seems like Central Europe is beginning to feel like home for the band. - Malcolm Middleton gigs in Prague and Athens The nights are fair drawing in and Malcolm Middleton is excited again about music. He’ll play solo in Prague and Athens next week ahead of a “Long, Dark Night” acoustic tour of the UK. Malcolm has also been back in the studio with Aidan Moffat working on an Arab Strap boxset and more:
- Jesus! It’s Nazareth Some people may be surprised to know that vintage Scottish rockers Nazareth are still going strong but, as previously noted on Dear Scotland, the band are currently on a tour of Canada. Later this summer the Fifers will visit Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Tour dates below.
