I’ve featured a lot of indie folk-pop bands recently, so I thought it was about time that I branched out a little. A Band Called Quinn are most certainly pop, but there’s no folk to be had here, this is electro-pop done at it’s finest.

Kid Canaveral – ‘Shouting at Wildlife’ Reviewed
The launch of this album was, entirely unsurprisingly, one of most enjoyable gigs I’ve been to in a long time. I think Lloyd from Peenko was officially having The Most Fun He Has Ever Had, it was sweaty as fuck, and the whole experience was just fantastic.

Peter Mullan is Scotland’s best living actor. Discuss. Certainly there are few Scottish actors whose name I’m as glad to see appear on a film’s credits. It means that even if the film isn’t great, there will be something worth seeing.
