You Have Been Watching… Shallow Grave
Before Trainspotting there was Shallow Grave, Scotland’s filmic John the Baptist if you like. The 1980s had been pretty barren in terms of Scottish cinema, Bill Forsyth aside. Even those films that were being made, such as the previously featured Restless Natives and Soft Top, Hard Shoulder, did not do significant box office.

There’s a certain amount of irony in me posting about a band called The Son(s) in the week that I had a beautiful baby daughter. But that’s enough about my private (or not so private) life, on to The Son(s), one of the greatest bands in Scotland that you’ve probably still to have heard of.

Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: Hostage in Barcelona
