Once again the SPL are meeting to consider a brand new idea that by changing the number of teams in the league, it will dramatically increase the quality of Scottish football. About six months ago they had a similar meeting. Here is what Billy had to say about it then:

Come On Baby, Light My Fire – Five Questions for Craig Levein
Over the years, football has evolved from 2-3-5, through the W-M formation and ‘wingless wonders’ into the 4-4-2 I know and love, with Christmas Trees, 4-5-1-into-4-3-3, and the current trendy 4-1-4-1 also coming into play. But on Friday I witnessed something I honestly never thought I’d see: 4-6-0. It made me want to call 9-9-9.

What We Miss: Memories from Euro 92
Two adult Scotsmen from Renfrew, on a pristine lawn, in the sunshine. One on his hands and knees being dry-humped, doggy-style, by the other. Over But Not Out
“It’s over,” said the BBC commentator Liam McLeod in the fourth minute of injury time against Liechtenstein. He was referring to Barry Robson’s free kick but he could just as well have been talking about our campaign: over, before it began.

I Have A Dream
Fox News TV celebrity and all-round fruit loop Glenn Beck held a rally for his followers in Washington DC last Saturday. The date just happened to be August 28, the same date that Martin Luther King held his famous “March on Washington,” the culmination of which was his legendary “I Have A Dream” speech.

From The Sublime to the Ridiculous: Fake Quotes and Financial Facts
Scottish football was rocked to its core on Sunday following the Hibernian-Rangers match at Easter Road – a match which featured two red cards and a blatant act of simulation. One senior figure in Scottish sport, who would only be quoted off-the-record, stated: “There is no place for that type of behaviour in Scotland’s elite […]
