- The Dumbarton Road to Nowhere David Byrne, one of Scotland’s most famous expats, releases his latest unique album on Tartan Day next week. A collaboration with Fatboy Slim, “Here Lies Love” features the vocals of Cyndi Lauper and Santigold among others, and is just the latest stop on a fascinating musical journey that began in Dumbartonshire.
- Sparrow and the Workshop European dates with Brian Jonestown Massacre Sparrow and the Workshop have announced a European tour with the unpredictable Brian Jonestown Massacre later this month. The Glasgow based band will also support Idlewild on a UK tour following the release of their highly anticipated second album on April 17. Full details below:
- Moonbeams and Broken Dreams “At Least Barnes Could Rap” said the banner in the Rangers end at Ibrox after Tony Mowbray’s last Old Firm game. I’m not sure I agree with that. John Barnes didn’t seem much of a rapper.
