A wee bit of a Scottish invasion will happen this weekend in Belgium as Frightened Rabbit, Twin Atlantic and Snow Patrol join Biffy Clyro at the famous Pukkelpop Festival in Hasselt. Vic has more on Biffy Clyro along with details and ticket information for all the other Scottish bands on tour this week.
Edinburgh’s We Were Promised Jetpacks continue their inevitable progression toward world domination with three festival appearances in Germany this weekend. The Jetpacks will play the Taubertal Festival in Rothenburg, the Rocco del Schlacko Festival in Saarbrucken and the Dockville Festival in Hamburg. Ticket details and more from Vic below:
This will be a week to remember for the Frightened Rabbit. Tonight the Frabbits are in Melbourne and tomorrow the band will play the Factory Theatre in Sydney. Then on Sunday they’ll play Lollapalooza in Chicago with Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga. Vic has more on Frightened Rabbit and all this week’s Scottish gigs abroad.
This week the Codeine Velvet Club are in Japan for what may be there last ever show. BBC Radio’s Vic Galloway has more on them along with a listing of all the Scottish bands on tour this week which includes Belle and Sebastian, Simple Minds and Fran Healy.
