Isobel Campbell has spent much of 2009 writing and recording in Arizona, Shreveport and Denmark. Though plans for US shows with Mark Lanegan fell through, Isobel will be back in Denmark to play some very special shows in Aarhus later this month. Ticket details and interview below.

Since moving on from Belle and Sebastian in the spring of 2002, Isobel Campbell has found success both as a solo performer on Amorino and Milk White Sheets, and with her unique collaborations with former Screaming Trees, and current Soulsavers singer Mark Lanegan on Ballad of the Broken Seas and Sunday at Devil Dirt.

In March 2006, Isobel was in the US for her first solo tour and Liane Hansen of NPR spoke with her about working with Mark, playing the whip, and how she handles the constant references to her former band.
