This is ‘alternative folk music’ clearly enough, if you want to call it something, but there are times when just for atmosphere that sounds like very much the wrong term to describe this album.

Best of 2010: ‘Away Game’ was Officially the Best Thing to Happen to Music, Ever
I just don’t understand it. I mean, I came back from the most amazing musical weekend I think I have ever enjoyed, and instead of being interested and happy for me, when I start telling people about it they get this weird look in their eyes which looks just a little like blind homicidal rage.

The Scottish Blogger and Music Sites Award (The Scottish BAMS) 2010
Last year Lloyd / Peenko set up what he rather amusingly called the Scottish BAMS, a collection of people who write Blogs And Music websites which are kinda Scottishy – in the sense that they must either be based in Scotland, or written by Scots abroad, such as the Daily Growl or your Dear Scotland.
