- Belle and Sebastian Announce Americas Tour – Brooklyn Presale Tomorrow Belle and Sebastian today announced their first American shows in over four years, as well as their first ever visits to Mexico and Singapore. - The Twilight Sad US Tour Dates; Frightened Rabbit Stuck in Heathrow Travelodge The Twilight Sad have finalized a 29 date North American tour with Japanese post-rockers Mono that should kick off in LA on May 7th. Sadly the volcanic ash cloud has forced Frightened Rabbit to cancel part of their 26 date headline tour with the band still stuck in London. Details on both tours below:
- We Were Promised Jetpacks European and North American Tour Dates With one of the best albums of 2009 and a growing following at home, We Were Promised Jetpacks look set to be Scotland’s next breakthrough act. The band have announced a headline tour of Europe and North America which will keep them on the road until March. Full details below.
- Interview with Come On Gang! Edinburgh’s Come On Gang! will be in Washington DC this week for a St Andrews Day show hosted by the Scottish Affairs Office. The band were one of the stand-out Scottish acts at SXSW 2009 and an excited Sarah, Mikey and Rob spoke to Dear Scotland this weekend before they headed back across the pond.

- Franz Ferdinand back in North America, Japan and Europe Aside from perhaps Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand may take the prize for the most international gigs this year. The band have already been through North America and Japan once in 2009 and they will return to the US next week supporting Green Day and playing festivals before returning to Japan and then Europe again.
- Mogwai in NY, DC and Japan Mogwai will be back in America in August for a couple of shows at the All Points West Festival in New York and then in Washington DC, before joining up with Teenage Fanclub and The Vaselines to play the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan. - Trashcan Sinatras in America and Japan The Trashcan Sinatras have announced US dates for July and August. The band will start rehearsals in early July and will play a warmup show in California on July 16 before heading to Japan for the Fuji Festival. Once they return from Japan, the band begins a full summer US tour.
