Vic is back from his jollies and will return to Radio Scotland tonight with Kid Canaveral live. Bands on tour this week include Hey Enemy, Teenage Fanclub and The Cinematics but Vic has more on Glasgow’s Sparrow and the Workshop who will join Biffy Clyro, The View, and Broken Records in Ireland for Arthur’s Day.
Something for everyone this week with a very eclectic list of Scots bands with gigs abroad over the next 7 days. Belle and Sebastian, Runrig, Paolo Nutini, Mungo’s Hi Fi and The Cinematics are all on tour but Vic has more on The Phantom Band who will hit the Electric Elephant Festival in Petrcane:
Every Monday, the legend that is Vic Galloway brings us the only listing of every Scottish band playing abroad this week along with one of his highlights. This week Vic has more on Glasgow’s Errors, (featuring Scotland’s 2nd Greatest Ever Drummer*) who are in Amsterdam tonight.
Vic will be putting his feet up this morning after presenting 3 days of television coverage of T in the Park this weekend. But next weekend he’s off to the Slottsfjell Festival in Norway with Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub and Twin Atlantic. More on Twin Atlantic below with all the Scotland on Tour details.

Glasgow’s We Are The Physics will be en Tours this week. Specifically the band will play at the Festival Aucard de Tours in France. Like many expat Scots, I find myself talking about Scotland a lot. And aside from the standard conversations about golf, whisky or Braveheart the subject of Scottish music frequently arises. In the past, when band names alone were not enough to impress certain people, I would end up making them a mixtape or cd.
