As we mentioned last week, The Phantom Band just played their first ever US shows at the CMJ Festival in New York and they’ll now head down to Atlanta to join Frightened Rabbit on tour. Those dates are below and Vic has more on Sparrow and the Workshop in Italy:
Just a handful of Scottish bands on tour this week, (by the way let us know if we are missing any), but Isobel Campbell starts her European tour and Vic has more on Hostage in Spain. Also the new Mogwai film will be screened at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Friday.
The magnificent Phantom Band made one of the best albums of 2009 and are currently working on the follow up. However, they’ll be taking a break from the studio to play Le Rock Etats Festival in France next weekend. Vic has more on The Phantom Band and this week’s gig list.
