Mogwai’s tunes have always had a cinematic quality about them and now “Burning”, the band’s live concert film collaboration with Vincent Moon and Nathanael Le Scouarnac, will air on the big screen at special events in the US and Canada this summer.
Mogwai have announced their first show of 2010 headlining the Metamorphose Festival in Japan in September. The Glasgow band will also be premiering their new concert film ‘Burning’ later this month in Berlin. Details below:
The world premiere of Mogwai’s new film ‘Burning’, recorded live in Brooklyn earlier this year, will take place next week in Copenhagen with Stuart Braithwaite playing a DJ set after the screening. Yesterday, Stuart, one of Scotland’s greatest ever guitarists, answered a few of our questions and let us know who would get his vote.
