Belle and Sebastian
  • Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway – Stevie Jackson in Brooklyn It’s a busy time for Scottish bands touring internationally. A glance at the Scotland On Tour listings shows that The Jetpacks have appearances at Coachella over the next two weekends, Mogwai are back on the East Coast, and Nazareth are in Europe. But Uncle Vic has more on Stevie Jackson in Brooklyn this Thursday. Vic Galloway

  • Indelible Ink: Stuart David’s ‘Nalda Said’ Novels by rock and pop musicians are a mixed bag. For every success such as ‘And the Ass Saw the Angel (Nick Cave) or ‘I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive’ (Steve Earle) there’s an unreadable, if admirable, attempt like ‘Tarantula’ (Bob Dylan), or something ludicrous such as ‘The Adventures of Lord Iffy Boatrace’ […] Alistair Braidwood

  • Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: Admiral Fallow in Boston After a massively successful SXSW in Austin Texas, where they impressed huge amounts of people at the ‘Showcasing Scotland – Night’ in Maggie Mae’s as well as at various other shows, Admiral Fallow continue their US jaunt by hitting the East Coast. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend you get along to see them, […] Vic Galloway

  • Scotland on Tour with Vic Galloway: Kid Canaveral, Rachel Sermanni and Withered Hand in New York As they travel the road towards SXSW and Austin’s new music extravaganza, some Scottish bands are taking the initiative to book some shows before and after the event. This makes sense in a load of ways. They’re in the USA already, the travel costs have been paid and they might even help earn some cash […] Vic Galloway
