- The Unwinding Hours in Austria, Germany and Switzerland The Unwinding Hours is a new band featuring Iain Cook and Craig B, former members of Glasgow’s critically acclaimed and much loved Aereogramme. - We Were Promised Jetpacks European and North American Tour Dates With one of the best albums of 2009 and a growing following at home, We Were Promised Jetpacks look set to be Scotland’s next breakthrough act. The band have announced a headline tour of Europe and North America which will keep them on the road until March. Full details below.
- The Cinematics Bring Love and Terror to Europe The Cinematics met in Dingwall and are currently based in Glasgow but it seems like Central Europe is beginning to feel like home for the band. - More Camera Obscura Gigs in Europe and North America Camera Obscura are back on the road and they will be at the Fritz Club in Berlin tonight. The band have now finalized their schedule for the next few months which includes dates all over Europe and North America and a very special gig at the Glasgow Barrowlands. - Biffy Clyro New Album and European Tour Biffy Clyro, the hardest working band in showbusiness, are back with a new album and a massive European tour. - More Franz Ferdinand dates in Japan and Europe Franz Ferdinand will finish out another massive year with a UK tour, three shows in Japan and then European dates which will see them visit Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria and Russia where they will play at the RAMP Awards. - The Pictish Trail on tour with Malcolm Middleton in Europe As mentioned earlier this week, Malcolm Middleton will be all over in Europe this autumn and The Pictish Trail (Jonny Lynch) will be opening for the former Arab Strapper. - Franz Ferdinand back in North America, Japan and Europe Aside from perhaps Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand may take the prize for the most international gigs this year. The band have already been through North America and Japan once in 2009 and they will return to the US next week supporting Green Day and playing festivals before returning to Japan and then Europe again.
