- Franz Ferdinand back in North America, Japan and Europe Aside from perhaps Glasvegas, Franz Ferdinand may take the prize for the most international gigs this year. The band have already been through North America and Japan once in 2009 and they will return to the US next week supporting Green Day and playing festivals before returning to Japan and then Europe again.

- Nazareth Back to Rock Canada 2008 marked the 40th Anniversary since the original four members of legendary rockers Nazareth got together back in Fife in 1968. The band have never really stopped touring and continue to play to devoted fans around the world. This summer the band will be in Canada before heading back to Eastern Europe.
