The draw for the 2014 World Cup qualifying groups will take place later tonight in Rio. Scotland are in pot 4 which means we could be in a Club Med group with Greece, Turkey and Israel or a Club Dread group with Spain, France and Ukraine. Details below.

The draw is scheduled for 3.30pm ET in the US but will inevitable run late. Teams will be drawn in eight groups of six teams and one group of five. Last time Billy wrote about his dream draw of playing Kazakhstan (see ‘Meet Me in Almary‘), and I have a feeling we’ll be reunited with Bertie Vogts who currently magages Azerbaijan. Anyway, we will update this page during the draw.
