Three Blind Wolves in Nijmegen, Groningen, Amsterdam and Zwolle.
by Vic Galloway

Led by the irrepressible Ross Clark, who has been a mainstay of the Glasgow open-mic and indie-folk scene for a number of years, Three Blind Wolves set foot on Dutch soil for the first time for a week of shows. It’s great to see Scottish bands with a true DIY ethic just getting out there and playing gigs outside of the British Isles.

3BW will be playing tracks from their excellent mini LP ‘The Sound of the Storm’ and new single ‘Echo on the Night Train’ alongside new tracks. Heartfelt, country-tinged, indie-rock anthems with lovely, echo-drenched twang guitar and Clark’s trademark yelp are their stock-in trade. They’ve been in session for me on radio; and as a live act and on record they are constantly improving and building an ever-bigger audience.

Putting it bluntly, they’re a top quality band with an armoury of great songs – if you’re in the Netherlands this week, get yourself along and catch them live.
