This week BBC Radio’s Vic Galloway tells us why Dolby Anol in Berne is his pick of all the Scottish artists playing outside the UK this week. Twin Atlantic, The Twilight Sad, Paolo Nutini and Biffy Clyro all have gigs in Central Europe too. Full details of all this week’s international shows below:

Dolby Anol

This booty-shaking, electro-glitch, party-pumping, laptop-abusing duo comprise of John Baillie Jnr of Dananananaykroyd, and Graham Peel previously of now-defunct Glasgow popsters Flying Matchstick Men.

Their production techniques are second-to-none right now and could give anyone making big, bouncy, electro-grooves a run for their money. They’ve released their own tunes through Tigerbass, Backyard and other labels, as well as providing slamming remixes and reworkings for Chromeo, Futureheads, Gossip, Kings of Leon and more.

This is fun-loving, futuristic dance-music with ideas in droves and a real sense of funk within their 4-to-the-floor madness. Get on it!
