Runrig will play 4 show in Denmark this summer ahead of a Homecoming gig at Scone Palace in Perthshire.
At present, Runrig’s largest fan bases can be found in the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Germany. Since 1999, the band has gained attention in Canada, after Runrig hired Nova Scotia singer Bruce Guthro, as a replacement for their previous lead vocalist, Donnie Munro.
On August 29th, Scotland’s premier Celtic rock band, Runrig, will join the Homecoming festivities and take centre stage in the magnificent Palace parklands for one of the biggest outdoor live shows of the year. Thousands of fans from around the world will journey to Scotland and celebrate a memorable Homecoming party. The support acts for the day will include the Peatbog Faeries; Blair Douglas with his band, top Gaelic singer Kathleen McInnes; King Creosote; and the renowned piping sensation, Fred Morrison.
